Tuesday, 230107, 1545hrs - 1900hrs
Had the most active day of the year thus far (2006 possibly included) - went to the gym for an hour or so, came back and immediately hopped on my bike for the first time in over a year. I fixed it up a couple of weeks ago, but apparently not sufficiently so (it only functions on the higher gears - not a very pleasant nor easy thing), therefore I have to KSH it sometime soon. Cycled until I couldn't take the irritation of high gears anymore and proceeded home, when Jinn, Ernest and Ah Mai flagged me down from within the park without my house.
So there I was, innocently dismounting my bike and propping it up against a bench when they point something out to me. Picture your typical park: people playing futsal, children running around, sounds of children laughing, the occasional jogger, the guy masturbating under the bamboo with his pants around his ankles, the... ! asdfqwertybbq.!! The guy was sitting right there doing his thing as though it was the most natural thing in the world.. I mean, sure you always see birds in a park, but this is something new. So being the good, upstanding moral citizen he is, Jinn calls the cops, who arrived promptly and acted swiftly in letting the man go. Just like that, they allowed him to climb in his car and drive off. Kudos to our local law enforcement, outstanding job once again. Don't their actions reassure you and make you feel safe?
Seterusnya, I left. Then I went for a quick jog. Gym, cycling, jogging. Back to back. Ouch.

I slept in, until around 12 whereupon I woke up for lunch, after which I climbed back under the covers and slept til 6. Not the most productive of days, but at least now I know not to try repeating the day before again for a while.. aching muscles is not a pleasant way to spend a day.
